Events Season 1

The Scot's Welcome Celebration was a party Queen Mary threw so she could invite all the Scot's that were close to French Court and have a secret deal made with Lord McKenzie and his men.

Event

Mary Stuart discovered a secret clause, The Crown Matrimonial in her marriage contract to Prince Franics stating that if she dies without heirs, Scotland would belong to France.

Francis and Mary realize they need to manipulate Catherine and Henry to somehow destroy the contract. So as to keep their plans a secret, Mary throws a party for the Sots, and makes sure to invite Lord McKenzie and his men.

Before the end of the Celebration, Mary meets with Lord McKenzie in private to talk about the reason they are actually there.

Mary informs them about The Crown Matrimonial. She tells them to take the news home and tell Lord Hardy, the leader of The Protestant and who opposes her mother, Marie de Guise. Convinced with Mary's willingness to declare war for Scotland, they bow to their Queen.
