Jeanne d'Albret is the Queen of Navarre, and the wife of Antoine de Bourbon. She rules Navarre in her own right.
Early life
Queen Jeanne married Antoine de Bourbon when she was 19.
Season 2

King Antoine told his brother Louis Condé that his wife was dying, and only wished to be surrounded by family and loved ones. He did not make the list.

Antoine tells Lady Kenna that his wife is dying and she does not wish to see him. However, once she had passed he will be re-married and he wants her to be his new bride.
Queen Jeanne arrives very pregnant at French Court for the banquette after receiving an invitation from Lady Kenna. She leaves a few days later, along with her husband, King Antoine.
Season 4
A sorceress named Emanuelle, told Queen Catherine she would keep her power and status, but only with her daughter Princess Margaret by her side. Emanuelle predicted Princess Margaret's rise to power after the fall of her brothers, King Charles and Prince Henri. Unbeknown to all of them, it would be through her marriage to her and King Antoine's son, Henry de Bourbon. This marriage would be arranged by Catherine.
Historical Notes
- She is a cousin of King Henry II of France.
- King James of Scotland, King Francis I of France, the young Prince Henry, and her father all went boar-hunting together in 1536, before King James' wedding to Princes Madeleine.
- For political reasons, was forced to marry William, Duke of Jülich-Cleves-Berg, who was the brother of Anne of Cleves, the 4th wife of Henry VIII of England.
- King Antoine was her second husband, and 10 years her senior.
- King Antoine's reconversion to Catholicism separated them, and he threatened to repudiate her.
- Had 5 children with King Antoine, but only 2 survived.
- Her son, became the future King Henry IV of France.
- Met Catherine de' Medici in France, where they agreed upon the arranged marriage of her son, Prince Henry and Catherine's daughter, Princess Margaret.
