"Nothing's changed here. Nothing has to."
Natalia to Francis

Natalia Tianná was Francis' former lover. Her affairs with him continued even after his fiancee, Queen Mary arrived in the French court, though it stopped shortly after. She is also seen as a lady-in-waiting, who serves Queen Catherine.

Personality

Natalia is a bit of a devious girl as she likes to take opportunities when she seems them. Becoming the future King of Francis' mistress would have indeed provided great opportunities for her and her family had Francis not changed his mind.

Season 1

Natalia Tianná is first seen sewing and waiting on Queen Catherine, while Princess Elisabeth prepares for her wedding and King Henry finishes getting ready for the arrival of the Queen of Scotland. Francis and his father have an argument about the former marrying too soon, to which Henry ends the discussion and leaves, while Catherine stays behind to comfort her favorite son.

Natalia arrives with the rest of the French Court to greet Queen Mary I of Scotland for her arrival into France along with her Ladies-in-Waiting for her and Prince Francis' arranged marriage.

Natalia and Francis continue to sneak around with each other hours after Mary of Scots arrives. Mary, trying to meet Francis, comes to his door, leaving Natalia to hide in his room. Francis then demands Mary to leave after she questions why his clothing is in a disarray. After a brief conversation, the two go back to what they were doing before Mary arrived.

Notes

  • Natalia's last name is fictional, as well as her title. However, given that she is shown to be a lady-in-waiting to the Queen of France, she most likely has a title.
