Mother Superior raised Mary Stuart, who was the child Queen of Scotland. She and the other sisters of the Church kept Mary safe from age 9 until the latter was 15.


Personality

Mother Superior is a very strong willed and independent woman. She has done her best to raise the Queen of Scotland as a normal young woman and keep her protected and innocent for as long as she could. She truly only wants the young Mary to be happy within her life and genuinely cares for her.

Early Life

Mother Superior raised Mary Stuart from the age of 9, until she was 15 at the convent. She educated her and raised her religiously. Mother Superior and the other nuns instructed her how to take care of herself as servants weren't on hand like they are at court. Even making sure Mary know how to make a fire for herself

Season 1

Mother Superior calls Mary Stuart in for dinner, where she is playing in the field. Sister Abbess is served her food while Mary waits her hers as she talks with those around her. A scream in heard from the young Rose who sees blood and foam coming from Sister Abbess. She then dies at the table as Mother Superior rushes Mary away. She tells Mary that this has been an attempt on her life and that she must now be taken to France. Her due date to wed young Francis must be moved up as the English have already gotten too close.

Mother Superior is waiting for Queen Marry to send her off to France. She tells Mary she she will be happy at French court and reminds her that four of her childhood friends will be waiting to greet her and become her ladies in waiting once she does arrive in France. Mother Superior sees Marry into her carriage and sends her with all her love.
