- "Mary! You are the Queen of Scotland. You will wed
young Francis, for your faith, for your people, for Scotland.
He will love you."
- —Mother Superior
Mother Superior raised Mary Stuart, who was the child Queen of Scotland. She and the other sisters of the Church kept Mary safe from age 9 until the latter was 15.
Mother Superior is a very strong willed and independent woman. She has done her best to raise the Queen of Scotland as a normal young woman and keep her protected and innocent for as long as she could. She truly only wanted the young Mary to be happy within her life and genuinely cares for her.
Mother Superior raised Mary Stuart from the age of 9, until she was 15 at The Convent. She educated her and raised her religiously. Mother Superior and the other nuns instructed her how to take care of herself as servants weren't on hand like they are at court. Even making sure Mary know how to make a fire for herself
Mother Superior called Mary Stuart in for breakfast, where she was playing in the field. Sister Abbess was served her food while Mary waited for hers as she talked with those around her. A scream was heard from the young Rose who saw blood and foam coming from Sister Abbess. She then died at the table as Mother Superior rushed Mary away. She told Mary that this has been an attempt on her life and that she must now be taken to France. Her due date to wed young Francis must be moved up as the English have already gotten too close.
Mother Superior was waiting for Queen Marry to send her off to France. She told Mary she would be happy at French Court and reminded her that four of her childhood friends would be waiting to greet her and become her Ladies-in-Waiting once she arrived in France. Mother Superior sees Marry into her carriage and sends her with all her love.
