Munro is a dangerous and charismatic Scottish clan leader who harbors a grudge against the Queen of Scots.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Munro was born and raised a Scottish noble, receiving the finest education and learning a bevy of languages, including Latin. When Marie de Guise named Munro's father a traitor, she took his lands and essentially cast himself and his family out to steal, starve, or die. Most of his brothers didn't make it. That is when he turned against the regime, including Mary Stuart.
Season 3[]
Clans
Mary learns that Munro is the leader of the gang of assassins that attacked her and Francis with the intent of killing her. The culprits killed Francis instead, and Mary promises to rip his heart out as he did hers.
Intruders
When Mary is alone with Munro he realizes who she really is; Mary soon plunges a cross into his neck and stabs him with the sword Francis made for her. Mary talks about how Munro plotted her assassination and there was no need for it; however in the end he is responsible for the death of her beloved husband. Soon after she and Bash take two horses and ride for Edinburgh Castle.
