Lord Hugo was given land and ownership somehow correlating with the succession of of Queen Catherine's children. He was also part of the privy council for King Henry.

Sacrifice

Lord Hugo was conspiring with Queen Catherine to kill Sebastian, who was to be named as the new heir to the throne of France.

Royal Blood

Lord Hugo, was having a rather civilized conversation with Sebastian, and Queen Mary of Scott beside him. He casually informs them both, he has, more or less, switched sides. As he likes to be on the winning side, and that is now the side of King Henry. Sebastian was informing him of the riots that took place earlier that day. He promises to double up on the guards to keep the young princess safe.

That afternoon, two of Queen Mary's Ladies-in-Waiting informed him that Prince Charles and Prince Henri had been taken. Currently, a man was in the dungeon being tortured for information.
