The Kingdom of Italy is a proud and very Catholic kingdom. All of its subjects are of the Roman Catholic faith. Rome is where the Pope lives, and all royal marriages have to be acknowledge and agreed upon by the Pope, himself.


Early life

Pope Clement VII raised his armies to save a young Catherine de' Medici, who later became the Queen of France. Pope Clement found Catherine back in Rome with tears in his eyes after her liberation.

History

Pope Clement VII refused to annal the marriage of King Henry VII and his wife Catherine of Aragon in favour of Anne Boleyn. Thus prompting the English Reformation, known more widely as The Church of England, where they left the Catholic Church and ceased communication with Rome.

* 28 October 1533
Pope Clement VII arranged for the marriage of Catherine de' Medici and Prince Henry of France.

* 25 September 1534
Pope Clement VII died at the age of 53.

* 31 March 1547
Italian Noble born Catherine de' Medici becomes Queen of France.
