Characters
- King Henry - Was a kind and fair ruler. He had 3 illegitimate children and 10 children with his wife Catherine de' Medici (7 of whom lived to adulthood). After the suspicious death of his older brother, Henry became the next-in-line to the throne and became King at 28. He and Catherine were married for 26 years, although he kept his most favorite mistress Diane de Poitiers at Court.
- Queen Catherine - Grew up in Italy and moved to France at 14 to marry prince Henry, and became Queen at 28. She had 10 children, 7 whom grew to adulthood. She was a more strict mother & Queen, and was cousins with her husbands mistress, Diane de Poitiers.
- Mary, Queen of Scots - Was Queen of Scotland 6 days after birth and sent to France at age 5 to marry Prince Francis. She and Francis married when she was 15 years old and he was 14. She was queen on France & Scotland for less than 2 years.
- King Francis - Was a sickly, and short prince who got married at 14. He was king for a year and a half before he died of an ear infection.
- Sebastian - Never existed.
Timeline
- 18 February 1516 - Mary Tudor is born to King Henry VIII of England & his first wife Catherine of Aragon.
- 28 February 1518 - - Prince Francis of France the 1st son of King Francis I, was born.
- 31 March 1519 - Prince Henry of France, the 2nd son of King Francis I, was born.
- 6 September 1519 - Construction began on Château de Chambord, but was halted in 1521.
- 1521 - The Italian War of 1521–1526, also know as Four Years' War broke out across Western Europe.
- King Francis I went goes to war agents King Charles V, and King Henry VIII of England.
- 21 May 1527 - Philip II of Spain is born.
- Early of 1532 King Henry VIII visited Calais, France, and eventually decides to keep the town.
- 28 October 1533 Catherine de' Medici and Prince Henry II were married at 14 years old.
- 7 September 1533 - Elizabeth Tudor is born to King Henry VIII of England and his 2nd wife Anne Boleyn.
- 10 August 1536 - Prince Francis of France mysteriously dies.
- 12 October 1537 - Prince Edward is born to King Henry VIII of England and his third wife Jane Seymour.
- 24 November 1542 - The Battle of Solway Moss takes place.
- 8 December 1542 - Mary Stuart is born to King James V of Scotland and Marie of Guise
- 14 December 1542 - King James V of Scotland dies.
- 14 December 1542 - Princess Mary Stuart becomes Queen of Scotland at one week old.
- 19 January 1544 - Prince Francis, the 1st child of Prince Henry and Catherine is born.
- 2 April 1545 - Princess Elizabeth, the 2nd child of Prince Henry and Catherine, is born.
- 1547 King Francis I invites King Charles V to Château de Chambord to show off his wealth & power.
- 28 January 1547 - King Henry VIII of England dies and Prince Edward becomes King Edward VI.
- 31 March 1547 - Prince Henry II becomes the King of France, and Catherine de' Medici, his Queen.
- Mid 1547 - King Henry II gave Château de Chenonceau to History's Diane de Poitiers.
- 12 November 1547 - Princess Claude, the 4th child of King Henry and Queen Catherine, is born.
- 14 August 1548 - Mary, Queen of Scots moves to France to live at age 5.
- 1549 - King Edward VI of England orders a hit on Queen Mary Stuart of Scotland. [1]
- 27 June 1550 - |Prince Charles, the 5th child of King Henry and Queen Catherine, is born.
- 19 September 1551 - Prince Henry, the 6th child of King Henry and Queen Catherine, is born.
- 19 July 1553 - King Edward VI dies and Princess Mary becomes Queen Mary I of England.
- 25 July 1554 - 37 year old Queen Mary I of England and 29 year old Prince Philip of Spain marry.
- 16 January 1556 - Prince Philip of Spain, becomes King of Spain.
- April 3, 1559 - King Henry II signed the Peace of Cateau-Cambrésis with the Holy Roman Empire and England, ending The Italian Wars.
- 22 June 1559 - a marriage between Princess Elisabeth and King Philip os Spain takes place as part of the agreement.

- 1557 - Queen Mary I of England orders an attempt on Mary, Queen of Scots' life. [1]
- 7 January 1558 - The French take back Calais, France. [2]
End of Winter 1559 - Prince Francis leads a group of 6 men & take back Calais. [2]
- 4 April 1558 - Mary, Queen of Scots signed a secret agreement bequeathing Scotland and her claim to England to the French crown if she dies without children. [3] [4]
Start of Winter 1558 - 16 year old Mary & Francis marry each other while at French Court. [5]
- 24 April 1558 - 15-year old Mary, Queen of Scots and |14 year old Prince Francis have a public wedding at Notre Dame de in Paris. [3]

- 5 July 1559 (Aprx.) - 14 year old Princess Elizabeth marries 30 year old King Philip II of Spain in Spain. [1]
