Early Life
Father Lucien would have grown up very religious, and possibly even travelled to Rome of further guidance from the Church.
Season 2
Drawn and Quartered
Queen Mary came to visit Father Lucien at church to asked him questions about Eduard Narcisse, his father Lord Narcisse and about Lord Purvilon.
He told Mary what he had been told though Purvilon's confession. Mary then tried to force him to testify this, but he would not. As the information he had received was during confession, and even Rome itself would not have him do so.
