Château de Chambord is a summer home that now belongs to Queen Catherine.

Season TwoEdit

Queen Mary desided to visit Château de Chambord, without King Francis for an undetermind amount of time. Leith Bayard was stationed as her Royal Escort, and Mary brought along one of her Ladies-in-Waiting, Greer Castleroy. After a short delay, Louis Condé was brought along for a quick visit to his brothers, King Antoine. After spending the night, Mary decided to cancel her plans, and heads back to French Court.

Historical NotesEdit

  • The château was built to act as a hunting lodge for King Francis I
  • Approximately 2,000 people would accompany the king on his hunting trips.
  • Visited by Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor in 1547.
  • After King Francis I died of a heart attack in 1547, the château was not used for almost a century.
  • For more than 80 years, French kings abandoned the château, allowing it to fall into decay.
